Here it Comes – the 2013 Ford Taurus SHO
The American full-size segment does offer some choices for all-weather big cars, like the Lincoln MKS, Chevrolet Impala and the Cadillac DTS. But for the most part, that segment of the market has been dominated by European models like the Audi 6, BMS 550i xDrive, and the Mercedes-Benz E550 4Matic that all feature all-wheel drive capability with sports car ability. Ford says that so far, they haven’t had any trouble getting buyers to walk away from traditional big-boned vehicles for the resurrection of the SHO. This D-class 2013 model boasts a lot of mid-cycle changes to keep the Taurus model fresh. It has a few exterior tweaks, a better version of MyFord Touch, a more aggressive braking system and a new track performance package that all contribute to buyers changing their minds.
