Pertanto il Sostituto Procuratore ha revocato la misura cautelare ritenendo: "la modesta entità del fatto e l'incensuratezza dell'indagato". L’attività era stata portata a termine dai carabinieri della stazione di Trevico che durante un normale posto hanno fermato un’Alfa Romeo 145, procedendo a effettuare una perquisizione d’iniziativa. Da qui il ritrovamento dei rifiuti ingombranti posti sotto sequestro. Il 60enne è stato così arrestato dai carabinieri, ma fortunatamente la misura cautelare gli è stata revocatata.
